KNX access control: guest codes, intercoms and QR access with Can’nX

Can’nX handles access control through three paths. Access Control manages bookings: the guest can receive by email a link to their code, valid for a period, and this code goes through the hardware declared in Link’nX (Zenio or Blumotix on KNX group addresses, or DoorBird Cloud). Link’nX also brings DoorBird, 2N, Nuki and UniFi Access intercoms and locks into scenarios. Boss’nX gives a guest, through a QR code, access to a selection of supervision components.

  • Access Control administration signs in with a link received by email. The access code is generated when the booking is created; the access point cannot be changed when editing.
  • The Délai d’envoi du mail d’accès (minutes) (Access email sending delay, in minutes), from 1 to 10,080, applies to the whole account.
  • KNX addresses of the hardware: DPT 16.001 for writing and deleting the Zenio PIN; communication objects 54, 55 and 58 in DPT 15.000 for Blumotix BX-E-AK12.
  • The end scene can be brought forward by 0 to 60 min (Delay) before the end of the booking. This delay does not extend the code’s validity.
  • A Boss’nX QR is managed with the Manage topology right. Its session duration, from one minute to 24 h, is not an end date for the printed QR.
