HomeKit KNX integration with Link’nX: actions and scenarios
Link’nX can offer HomeKit a selection of its actions and scenarios, including KNX actions. In the Apple app, each exported item appears as a switch-type command that requests the launch of the associated action or scenario. This page sums up what the export does, its limits and the commissioning order.

Step-by-step commissioning
Section titled “Step-by-step commissioning”- Prepare and save the actions and scenarios in the right project and gateway.
- Select the items to export in Export actions or scenarios to HomeKit, save, then reopen Filter to review the boxes actually saved.
- Find the PIN code in HomeKit configuration, then add Link’nX in the Home app from an iPhone or iPad connected to the same network as the gateway.
- Activate each item from the Apple app and check the result on the device itself.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- The export requires the HomeKit option in the relevant project and gateway. If HomeKit does not appear, have its availability confirmed.
- Tout sélectionner (Select all) replaces the selection with the items visible in the current filter, and Tout désélectionner (Deselect all) clears the whole selection: clear the search and review the boxes before saving.
- For an action, the switch may return to off shortly after the launch, without confirming execution. Turning it back off is not a reverse command and does not stop a scenario already launched.
- Direct export of a KNX action carrying a specific value, and launching a scenario that is subject to conditions or disabled, must be confirmed by support before you rely on them.
- Removing an item from the export does not delete it from Link’nX. After each save, the Home app updates automatically after a while. Never share the PIN code, not even in a screenshot.
