nX platform: Can’nX glossary, manuals and customer service help
Can’nX designs KNX and IoT solutions for smart buildings, intended for professionals. The nX platform section gathers the guides shared by all its products: the glossary of the terms used in the documentation, getting a manual suited to your product, and preparing a request to support for an account, a license, an invoice, a warranty or a hardware return.
Getting started
Section titled “Getting started”To get back into an application, follow the path for the screen you are using:
| Product | First guide |
|---|---|
| Boss’nX, supervision or hypervision | Sign in to Boss’nX |
| Access Control, administrator | Sign in with an email link |
| Link’nX | Open Link’nX and check the context |
| Emergy’nX | Find your way around Emergy’nX |
| Embedded Chart’nX | From Boss’nX or from Emergy’nX |
With a Kloud’nX gateway, open Link’nX, check the displayed project and gateway, then find the scenarios, functions and devices. In Boss’nX, the sign-in form does not offer a password reset: contact the administrator or support.
Main tasks
Section titled “Main tasks”- Understand a term. The Can’nX glossary explains context and rights (project, gateway, supervision, role, license), device configuration (KNX group address, DPT, ETS, Modbus register), automations (trigger, condition, action) and reading values (kW, kWh, kVA, CSV).
- Get a manual. For Pool’nX, Infini KNX, Speak’nX, Mod’nX or Tool’nX, request the manual or ETS file matching your reference, stating the product name, its reference, your goal and, if you know it, the version.
- License, invoice, warranty or return. The customer service guide lists the information to provide for each request. In Link’nX, a padlock on a device card indicates a license that is not shown as active in this context. Have the handling confirmed before shipping any hardware.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- For a problem specific to an application, start with the Troubleshooting page and that application’s help guide.
- If the steps have already failed, write to support@can-nx.com with the product, the project or site, the message displayed and what you have already tried. The customer service guide offers a message template.
- Never send a password, key, secret code or confidential access link.
