Emergy’nX on computer and phone: menu, top bar, TV mode and demo mode
Emergy’nX groups its screens in one menu: dashboard, equipment, building configuration, energy control, EV chargers (IRVE) and Chart’nX. Find the right section on a computer or a phone, change the language, exit TV mode and recognize demo mode.
For everyday users, administrators and installers who have access to their Emergy’nX project.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”Use the usual access provided for your project. To add it on your device, follow the installation guide. If you do not have it or do not know which access to use, ask support for it (see the last section).
Open the right section
Section titled “Open the right section”- Open your Emergy’nX access and wait for loading to finish.
- Check the project name in the top bar. If it is missing or does not match the expected project, have your access confirmed before changing any settings.
- On a computer, use the menu on the left. If only icons appear, click the Expand icon at the bottom of the menu to show the names.
- On a phone, tap the three horizontal lines Toggle navigation at the top left, then choose the section. If the panel stays in front of the page, tap the area outside it to close it.
| Section | French name | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Dashboard | Tableau de bord | Read energy flows, the consumption breakdown and the equipment cards; see the dashboard guide. |
| Equipment | Équipements | Find and configure the project’s equipment, or remove equipment that is no longer needed; see the equipment list. This list differs from the Equip. cards on the dashboard. |
| Building Config | Config. bâtiment | Set up the network, production, storage, general meter, weather and special conditions. |
| Energy Control | Pilotage énergétique | Access the load shedding, optimization and tariff period management scenarios. |
| IRVE | IRVE | View the monitoring of EV chargers; see EV charger monitoring. |
| Chart’nX | Chart’nX | Open the available dashboards; see access to Chart’nX. |
To prepare the building, follow the guides Network and tariffs, Production and battery, General meter, Weather location and Special conditions.
A visible section is not enough to tell your permissions or the options of your installation. Leave changes to the people in charge of its configuration.
Change the language or exit TV mode
Section titled “Change the language or exit TV mode”The FR or EN button, on the right of the top bar, changes the language. Its label is Toggle language. The French names of the sections are listed in the table above.
The TV-shaped TV mode button hides the navigation bars to enlarge the display. To get the menus back, click the Exit TV mode cross at the bottom right, or press Escape.
Recognize demo mode
Section titled “Recognize demo mode”Demo mode only offers Dashboard and IRVE, with simulated data. It lets you neither configure your installation nor control your equipment. During the guided tour, the welcome message mentions Emergy-nX Demo mode; Skip closes this tour.
If you thought you were viewing your real project, go back to the project’s usual access and check its name. The absence of a menu alone does not mean that a license is missing.
Check the project and the connection
Section titled “Check the project and the connection”The connection indicator is in the top bar: a green dot with Connected, or a red dot with Disconnected. On a small screen, the text may be hidden.
Connected also appears in the demo and tells you neither that you are viewing the right project nor that each measurement is recent. Check the project name in the top bar at the same time.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- The display stays Disconnected or does not match the expected project: see common issues.
- The menus have disappeared: exit TV mode with Escape or the Exit TV mode cross.
- Only Dashboard and IRVE appear: you are in the demo; go back to the project’s usual access.
- The expected sections are still missing in your real project: contact support.
Contact support
Section titled “Contact support”Write to support@can-nx.com if you have no access, do not know which one to use, or if the expected sections are still missing. Give the project concerned, the section you are looking for, your context and the checks already done. Never send a password or a confidential access link.
