Klereo KNX integration with Pool’nX
With the Pool’nX gateway, a Klereo pool controller integrates with the KNX bus: its sensors (water and air temperature, pH, ORP, chlorine, pressure, water level), its modes, its setpoints and its alerts are sent to group addresses, and lighting, filtration, heating, auxiliaries and the water setpoint are controlled from KNX. Pool’nX communicates with the pool through the Klereo Connect account.
What the Klereo integration does
Section titled “What the Klereo integration does”| Need | Where to configure it | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Connect the pool to the gateway | Type of pool, Authentification and Selected pool | Connect Pool’nX to Klereo Connect |
| Show temperature, pH, ORP or alerts in a KNX visualization | Pool Status table | Send statuses on the KNX bus |
| Control lighting, filtration, heating or auxiliaries from KNX | Pool Commands table | Control the pool from KNX |
| Know the DPTs and the values to send | Klereo statuses and commands | Klereo table for KNX |
| Create the addresses in ETS | Export to ETS | Export the addresses to ETS |
Step-by-step commissioning
Section titled “Step-by-step commissioning”- Open the Pool’nX window in Can’nX Cloud.
- Choose the Klereo type, enter the Klereo Connect credentials and the pool.
- Map the statuses, then the commands, to KNX group addresses.
- Export the addresses to ETS and program the KNX devices.
- Send each command from the bus, for example with the ETS group monitor, and watch the pool.
If something goes wrong, see Pool’nX troubleshooting.
Good to know before wiring
Section titled “Good to know before wiring”- Klereo outputs are read and controlled in DPT 5.010 with a code that combines mode and state: 0 and 1 for off and on in manual mode, 12 for time range mode, 22 for timer mode, 31 for on in regulated mode.
- Each output accepts only certain values: 0, 1, 12 and 22 for lighting and auxiliaries, 0, 1, 12 and 31 for filtration, 0 and 31 for heating.
- The water temperature setpoint is sent in DPT 9.001, from 0 to 59 °C, or adjusted in 1 °C steps in DPT 1.001.
- Outputs and sensors renamed in Klereo keep their Klereo name in the Pool’nX tables.
