Klereo KNX: connect Pool’nX to a Klereo Connect account
Pool’nXAdministratorInstaller
Can’nX Cloud, Pool’nX window: Klereo type of pool, Authentification and Selected pool
Pool’nX reads the sensors and output states of a Klereo pool controller, and passes on to it the commands received from the KNX bus, through the pool’s Klereo Connect account. Choose the Klereo type, save the account credentials, then select the pool.
Intended for the installer or administrator who connects a Klereo pool to a KNX installation. For a PoolCop, follow the PoolCop Cloud connection.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- The gateway’s Pool’nX window is open: see open Pool’nX in Can’nX Cloud.
- You have the user name and password of a Klereo Connect account that can see the pool.
- Changing the type of pool erases the whole saved configuration: credentials, KNX addresses, options and temperature control. If the Pool’nX is already configured for another type, note its addresses first.
Choose the Klereo type
Section titled “Choose the Klereo type”- In Type of pool, choose Klereo.
- The Confirmation window shows Do you really want to change the pool type? and All your saved data will be deleted. Click Confirm.
- Wait for the window to reload with the Klereo type.
Cancel restores the previous type without changing anything. If Klereo is already the displayed type, don’t choose it again: there is nothing to confirm.
Enter the Klereo Connect credentials
Section titled “Enter the Klereo Connect credentials”- Next to Authentification, click the button with the login icon. The Modify the login details window opens.
- Enter the User name and the Password of the Klereo Connect account.
- Click Save, available once both fields are filled in. Success! confirms the save and the window closes.
The saved password is never shown again: The saved password is not displayed. Type it again to save changes. To change the user name, you therefore also have to type the password again.
Choose the pool
Section titled “Choose the pool”- Back in the Pool’nX window, open the Selected pool list. It offers the pools of the Klereo Connect account, by name.
- Choose the pool. The choice is saved immediately, with no other button.
The list stays empty until the credentials are saved. Pool’nX then reads the chosen pool, and again at the period set in the options, 10 minutes by default.
Check the result
Section titled “Check the result”- Open Pool Status with its double-arrow button.
- Check that Live values is followed by a green dot, that the Value column fills in and that Last update: shows a recent date.
- Outputs and sensors renamed in Klereo appear under their Klereo name in the Name column.
Then map the KNX addresses: statuses, then the Klereo-specific values in the Klereo status and command table.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”| Symptom | Cause and action |
|---|---|
| An error has occurred when the window opens, Selected pool list empty | Klereo Connect returned no pool for these credentials. Enter the user name and password again in Authentification, then reopen the window. Check that this account sees the pool in Klereo Connect. |
| Save stays greyed out | One of the two fields is empty. The password must be typed again at every change. |
| Live values followed by disabled | No data has been received from the Pool’nX yet. Check that a pool is chosen and that the gateway is Online on its page, then reopen the table. |
If the problem persists, see Pool’nX troubleshooting or write to support@can-nx.com with the gateway name, the type of pool and the message displayed. Never send the Klereo Connect password.
