Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- The DPT 1.001 pulse commands of Sonos, BluOS, Denon/HEOS and Samsung react to the value 1: the 0 sent on release does not request the opposite command.
- Absolute volume is set in DPT 5.001, from 0 to 100, for Sonos, BluOS, Denon/HEOS and Samsung. Relative commands differ: signed offset from -100 to 100 in DPT 6.010 for Sonos, 2 dB step for BluOS, step from 1 to 10 in DPT 5.001 for Denon/HEOS.
- Some functions only exist in scenario actions: BluOS input and groups; Samsung input, channel, app and key. The Sonos favorite, group and URL rows of the table require a procedure set up with support.
- To power on a Samsung TV over the network, the declaration must include its MAC address, with a compatible model and Wake-on-LAN allowed. For Sony, have the commands and KNX mappings confirmed for your model before activation.
- Texts in DPT 16.001, such as the current Sonos track, are limited to 14 bytes. Missing feedback means neither zero nor stopped.
