Open Link’nX: check the project and gateway, then sign out

Link’nX opens with the access provided for your project and your gateway by the person in charge of the installation. Before making any change, check in the header that you are working on the right installation; when you are done, end your session.

Intended for administrators and installers responsible for configuring an installation in Link’nX. Keep this access confidential.

Open Link’nX and check the context

1. Open the access you were given. After signing in, Link’nX shows Scenarios.
2. Before making any change, read at the top of the page the project name and the gateway name, separated by a dash when both are available.
3. If this context does not match the intended installation, stop making changes and ask the person in charge of the project for the corresponding access. The name shown in the header identifies the context; it does not let you switch gateways.
4. Then find scenarios, functions or devices with Link’nX navigation.

To give an authorized person access to this context, use the share button described in Copy a Link’nX share link.

Sign out

1. On mobile, first open the three-line menu. On a computer, expand the sidebar if necessary.
2. Click the power icon at the bottom, tooltip Disconnect. You are redirected to Can-nx.cloud.

Troubleshooting

• Login error. Redirection to Can-nx.cloud…: let the redirection complete, then request valid access for the intended context.
• First access, account creation, password reset, account rights to change or launch command not found in another application: contact the person in charge of the project or support.
• A visible screen or button does not necessarily reflect all of your account’s rights: if in doubt, check them with the person in charge of the project.

If the connection still fails after retrying with the access provided, write to support@can-nx.com, mentioning Link’nX, the project, the gateway and the message displayed. Do not send the full access link or a password.
