Access Control: administration, guest page and configuration in Link’nX

Short answers to common questions about Access Control: sign-in, site selection, bookings, access codes, guest emails, mobile display and hardware. Each answer points to the detailed guide.

Access Control administration uses a link received by email, without a password. On Administration des accès (Access administration), fill in Votre adresse email (Your email address), then select Recevoir le lien de connexion (Receive the login link). See the sign-in guide.

How do I choose my building, my site or my room?

Section titled “How do I choose my building, my site or my room?”

In Sites, select the site in the list that appears under this menu. To book a room or a door, then choose Nouvelle réservation (New booking), then the access point under Choix de l’accès (Access point selection). See the creation guide.

Why does the booking planned for tomorrow not appear?

Section titled “Why does the booking planned for tomorrow not appear?”

Aujourd’hui (Today) is not an exhaustive list: it shows active bookings and those starting within the next 12 hours. Open Réservations → Toutes (Bookings → All). See the viewing guide.

Can I choose the code or change the door of a booking?

Section titled “Can I choose the code or change the door of a booking?”

No. The code is generated on creation, and the access point cannot be changed when editing. See Create a booking and Edit a booking.

The booking has started: Du (From) can no longer be changed and the arrival can no longer be postponed. The editable fields are described in the editing guide.

Enter their address in the booking, then use Envoyer (Send) or Renvoyer (Resend). The email contains a link to view the code. If the guest has not received anything, follow the guide Sending and delay.

Is the sending delay specific to each site?

Section titled “Is the sending delay specific to each site?”

No. The Délai d’envoi du mail d’accès (minutes) (Access email sending delay, in minutes) field applies to your whole account. See Set the delay.

I am a guest: where are the Sites and Réservations menus?

Section titled “I am a guest: where are the Sites and Réservations menus?”

The guest link shows your access and its period. The management menus belong to the administration. See View your guest access code.

On a narrow screen, it may be below the fields of the booking form. Scroll down the page to Récapitulatif (Summary) before Créer la réservation (Create booking). If a menu remains inaccessible in your display, note the name of the screen; if the blockage persists, contact support.

What if the code is displayed but the door does not open?

Section titled “What if the code is displayed but the door does not open?”

Check the access point and the period, then follow the Access Control troubleshooting guide. If these checks have already failed, contact the site administrator and support, without sending the code.

Where do I declare the hardware or enter the administrator?

Section titled “Where do I declare the hardware or enter the administrator?”

In Link’nX, the installer or an authorized administrator uses Access Control to declare the hardware and enter the administrator email, then copy the Admin link. Copying the link does not send an email. Bookings are then created in the Access Control administration.

How do I import bookings, manage a license or change permissions?

Section titled “How do I import bookings, manage a license or change permissions?”

These operations are not presented in the Access Control administration. Contact support to establish the steps to follow in your context.

Write to support@can-nx.com, stating the product, the screen concerned and the desired operation or the symptom. Do not send any code, personal link, key or confidential data.
