Link’nX web: Scenarios list, execution history of the gateway
The Link’nX scenario history lists scenario executions with their name, date and origin. Use it to check that a scenario actually started, and at what time, then filter it by name or origin.
For administrators and installers, on the right project and the right gateway.
Open the history
Section titled “Open the history”- In Link’nX, open the Scenarios list.
- In its top bar, click the button with a clock and a back arrow, labeled Scenario execution history.
- To return to the previous list, click the back arrow to the left of the title.
Read the table
Section titled “Read the table”The table shows Name, Date and Origin. The date is displayed according to the browser’s local settings: check your device’s time zone before comparing this time with that of another system.
- To sort the names or origins, click the header of the relevant column.
- At the bottom of the table, choose 10, 25 or 50 rows per page, then use the pagination arrows, including those for the first and last page.
- The history refreshes about every 10 seconds while the page remains open. Your search and origin choices are kept during a refresh.
Search and filter executions
Section titled “Search and filter executions”- In Search for elements, type part of the name you are looking for. The search also finds text from the displayed origin or date. Clear the field to remove this search.
- Under Filter origin:, check the origins to keep. The origins offered depend on the available history and are all checked at first. Checking only some of them limits the list; with all checked or all unchecked, the list shows all origins.
Changing a filter returns you to the first page of results.
Check a scenario’s result
Section titled “Check a scenario’s result”A row in the history shows that the scenario was executed. For the physical result of its actions, watch the equipment. If a row exists but the equipment did not respond, compare the name, date and origin with the expected scenario, then check the action sequence and its delays following the guide to running actions and scenarios.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”The expected execution does not appear
Section titled “The expected execution does not appear”Check the context, clear the search, restore all origins, then browse the pages. If the execution was just requested, wait for the next refresh. Do not launch a sequence again just to fill this history: it may control equipment.
The page stays empty or no longer updates
Section titled “The page stays empty or no longer updates”Check your connection, then return to Scenarios and reopen the history once. An empty page is not enough to conclude that no scenario has been run.
You are looking for old entries or an export
Section titled “You are looking for old entries or an export”The page offers no export and does not state a retention period. To keep a specific period, recover old entries that are unavailable or obtain an export, contact support, specifying the period and the intended use.
Contact support
Section titled “Contact support”If the problem persists after these checks, write to support@can-nx.com with the context, the scenario name, the expected time, the time zone used, the symptom and the attempts already made. Do not send a password or a full access link.
