Boss’nX: multi-site hypervision dashboard, supervision map, aggregated favorites and technical alarms
Changing building, grey map, active sites, clicks on favorites, a value you cannot change, alarm counter, navigation on mobile or loading failures: here are the answers to common questions about navigating and viewing the Boss’nX hypervision dashboard. Accesses and commands depend on the account’s authorizations.
For consumption, charts or their associations, see the frequently asked questions about energy. To move the blocks and save their layout, follow dashboard editing.
How do I open another building from the hypervision?
Section titled “How do I open another building from the hypervision?”In Hypervision dashboard, find Supervision map and click the summary card of the supervision you want. After it opens, check its name in the header. See open a supervision from the map.
The map is grey or empty: can I still open a site?
Section titled “The map is grey or empty: can I still open a site?”Yes, if the summary cards are present below the map background: click the one for the site you want. If no expected site appears there, check the selected hypervision and reload the page. The other checks are in the map guide.
Does the number of active sites confirm that all buildings are connected?
Section titled “Does the number of active sites confirm that all buildings are connected?”No. This number accompanies the supervisions shown, without telling you about the connection of each building. To find out the state of a building, open its supervision and check its context. See the map indicators.
Why does clicking a favorite not always open the same view?
Section titled “Why does clicking a favorite not always open the same view?”Each area of the card has its own destination:
- the component name opens its detail;
- the site pill or an empty area of the card opens its supervision;
- the buttons and fields of the card are used for commands.
How do I show favorites as a grid and see the missing datapoints?
Section titled “How do I show favorites as a grid and see the missing datapoints?”In Aggregated favorites, choose the four-squares icon, Grid layout, to the right of the title. The choice is remembered in the browser. Each card only gives a limited preview: click the component name to view its detail and its other datapoints. See the layouts and preview limits.
Why can I not act on a value shown?
Section titled “Why can I not act on a value shown?”A value may be viewable as read-only. Check the relevant component and datapoint, then have the administrator check the expected rights. If a command has already been sent, follow command troubleshooting before trying again.
Why is the alarm counter higher than the dashboard list?
Section titled “Why is the alarm counter higher than the dashboard list?”This is normal: the Technical alarms block gives a preview of the first twelve active alarms. Click it to open the aggregated history, then check the project, the tab and the filters. See go from the summary to the history.
Where are the hypervision menus on mobile?
Section titled “Where are the hypervision menus on mobile?”On a tablet or phone, the hypervision navigation moves to the bottom bar: Home for Hypervision dashboard, Alarms for Aggregated alarms and Users for Hypervision users; the account’s rights still apply. For accounts, see view the users.
What if loading fails?
Section titled “What if loading fails?”For Loading failed or Alarms unavailable, click Retry when it is offered, then wait for the result.
Contact support
Section titled “Contact support”If the failure repeats or if a state remains uncertain, write to support@can-nx.com, specifying the product, the hypervision, the screen or building concerned, the symptom, the message and the checks already made. A screenshot without sensitive data can help.
