Boss’nX: Energy consumption block of the hypervision dashboard and its Chart’nX setup

Configuration button missing, project not linked, unsaved changes, no data, missing site, grey chart or a total that does not follow the period: here are the answers to common problems with the Energy consumption block of Hypervision dashboard. To view the charts, use the reading guide; to change their associations, follow the Chart’nX configuration with the required rights.

Configuration is offered during Edit layout, which is available to accounts authorized to edit the dashboard. If you have these rights, turn on this editing, then look for Configure or Configure now. Outside editing, the message asking for an administrator may remain displayed. If the edit button itself is missing, have the expected rights checked.

What if a supervision shows Project not linked or offers no dashboard?

Section titled “What if a supervision shows Project not linked or offers no dashboard?”

In Link ChartnX dashboards, check the supervision name and the project shown. The project attachment is not entered in this window.

  • For Project not linked, have the administrator or installer check the expected attachment.
  • For an empty list, wait for loading to finish, then have the dashboard available in this project checked.

Why are there still unsaved changes after Save?

Section titled “Why are there still unsaved changes after Save?”

In the window, Save only prepares the associations in the dashboard being edited; the header then shows Unsaved changes. Then click Finish editing in the header, wait for the save to finish, and check the associations and the sites shown. If you left the page before this step, read the saved choices again before redoing them. See save the dashboard.

Saving failed: should I click Finish editing again?

Section titled “Saving failed: should I click Finish editing again?”

Not straight away. First check the positions and associations present: the attempted changes may not have been kept. Reopen Configure if needed, restore the choices you want, then perform Save → Finish editing once. If the failure repeats or if the saved state remains uncertain, contact support.

Does No ChartnX data available mean zero consumption?

Section titled “Does No ChartnX data available mean zero consumption?”

No. No ChartnX data is available yet. reports missing data, not zero consumption. Check that the expected associations are saved, choose All categories, then the period you want. If the expected data is still missing after reloading, have its availability checked in the relevant Chart’nX dashboard.

Why does a category or a meter give no result?

Section titled “Why does a category or a meter give no result?”

For No ChartnX data is available for the selected category., go back to All categories, then check the period. In Detailed view, the message No meter matches the selected category for… also prompts you to check the supervision shown and, if needed, to move to another one with the arrows.

Can I interpret the total when an expected supervision is missing?

Section titled “Can I interpret the total when an expected supervision is missing?”

Not before checking. Check the legend names, the period and the category, then have the association of the missing supervision checked. Results for other sites do not show that all expected sites have provided data: do not count the missing site as zero consumption.

Why does the chart turn grey while the numbers stay the same?

Section titled “Why does the chart turn grey while the numbers stay the same?”

Clicking a legend row hides or reactivates its chart share without changing the numbers shown. In Global view, use Show all. In Detailed view, all shares may have been hidden: click each dimmed row again. See the two views and their legends.

Why does the Consolidated total not change with Yesterday?

Section titled “Why does the Consolidated total not change with Yesterday?”

The Consolidated total panel is a summary separate from the charts: the period and category buttons do not recalculate it, so it may differ from the chart. Check the scope, the period and the units of each value before comparing them. A difference alone does not let you conclude a saving or an overconsumption; if the summary’s period or the gap remains unexplained, contact support.

What if loading fails, keeps waiting or seems outdated?

Section titled “What if loading fails, keeps waiting or seems outdated?”
  • Unable to load ChartnX dashboards.: check your connection, then close and reopen the configuration once.
  • Unable to retrieve ChartnX data., a persistent wait or values that seem outdated: first finish any work that needs saving, reload the page once, then check the period.
