Add Daikin, Gude or Atmoce devices in Link’nX: IP, port and Slave ID
Link’nXAdministratorInstaller
Link’nX web: Daikin, Gude and Atmoce lists in the Climate & Energy category, depending on the project option
Declare in Link’nX a Daikin air conditioning Wi-Fi adapter, a Gude device with switchable outlets or an Atmoce PV and storage gateway, with its IPv4 address and, depending on the family, its Modbus parameters or credentials. This declaration is the prerequisite for the actions and KNX associations of these devices.
Intended for administrators and installers authorized to configure the gateway.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Have the device’s confirmed parameters ready: IPv4 address, port and slave ID for Atmoce, credentials for Gude if the device requires them.
- Check the project and the gateway in the Link’nX header.
- For Daikin, the Wi-Fi connection, enabling functions on the manufacturer side and compatible models are not set in this form: if the installation’s procedure is not known, ask support for it.
Open the device list
Section titled “Open the device list”- In Devices → Climate & Energy, open Daikin, Gude or Atmoce. You can also type this name in Search a device…. On mobile, open the navigation first.
- If the card shows a padlock or if access is missing, check the context and the option concerned. The Soon badge can appear on Daikin or Atmoce: to confirm their availability on your installation or to obtain access, contact your distributor or support.
- Click Add.
Fill in the declaration
Section titled “Fill in the declaration”| Field | Daikin | Gude | Atmoce |
|---|---|---|---|
| Name | Required, 64 characters maximum | Required, 64 characters maximum | Required, 64 characters maximum |
| IP address | IPv4 of the Wi-Fi adapter on the local network | IPv4 of the device | IPv4 of the gateway |
| Port | No field | No field | Prefilled with 502; range 1 to 65535 |
| Slave ID | No field | No field | Prefilled with 1; range 1 to 247 |
| Username, Password | No field | Present; fill in according to the device’s confirmed configuration | No field |
- Fill in Name and IP address. The IPv4 address is written as four numbers from 0 to 255 separated by dots, without protocol or port. “Office Daikin” and
192.0.2.25are fictitious examples. - For Atmoce, enter the installation’s whole-number port and identifier. The prefilled values 502 and 1 are the form’s values: check that they match your gateway’s settings. Declare the physical gateway concerned; the measurements presented correspond to its PV and storage system.
- For Gude, fill in Username and Password if the device requires identification. The form accepts both fields empty: leave them empty only if the device accepts a connection without identification. The password is hidden; the eye icon lets you show or hide it. If the use of these credentials is not confirmed for your version, contact support before relying on control.
- For Daikin, no vendor account or adapter generation choice needs to be entered.
- Click the round floppy disk at the bottom right. If it is grayed out, check the required fields, the IPv4 address and the Atmoce ranges.
- Wait for Success!, then find the row in the list.
Never send the Gude credentials by message or in a screenshot.
Check the result
Section titled “Check the result”Click the row’s Edit pencil to review the saved values. Success! confirms that the configuration is saved; a declaration does not run any command. The connection to the device is checked by sending it a command and watching the equipment:
- Daikin: prepare the actions or the KNX associations;
- Atmoce: see the commands and their limits or the KNX gateway;
- Gude: prepare an outlet command, described below.
Edit or delete a declaration
Section titled “Edit or delete a declaration”To edit, click the Edit pencil, correct the fields, save with the floppy disk and wait for Updated!.
To delete:
- First check where the declaration is used in actions and associations.
- Click its Delete trash can and review the name in the browser confirmation.
- Cancel to keep it, or confirm and check that it disappears after Deleted!.
No restore button is offered. Deleting a declaration is not a command to stop the hardware.
Prepare a Gude outlet command
Section titled “Prepare a Gude outlet command”- Open Actions → Add → Gude.
- Fill in Name, then choose Gude device.
- In Plug number, enter the actual number provided by the installer. The example 2 and the displayed minimum do not determine your model’s numbering.
- In State wanted, choose ON or OFF.
Have support confirm the saving and execution path of Gude actions for your version before relying on these actions. These fields describe the desired command; then check that the action is saved and the actual state of the outlet. If the floppy disk produces no result even though the fields are filled in, contact support directly with the context, the outlet and the requested state. Do not remove the credentials of a device that requires them to work around this difficulty.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- The list is empty even though the hardware is connected: check the project and the gateway. The list shows the saved declarations; it does not automatically list the devices on the network.
- The Atmoce port or identifier is unknown: have the parameters confirmed by the installer or support rather than trying a series of numbers at random.
- A correctly filled-in declaration does not save, or a device is still missing: contact support@can-nx.com with Link’nX, the context, the family, the symptom and the tests carried out, without any password. A screenshot without sensitive data can help.
