You configure it in Can’nX Cloud (can-nx.cloud), from the gateway page: controller type, credentials, KNX group addresses for statuses and commands, temperature control and options. Intended for installers and administrators who commission or modify the KNX integration of a pool. For the hardware connection of the gateway to the KNX bus and to the network, request [the product manual](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/customer-product-notices/). ## Before you start - The Pool’nX is attached to a project in your Can’nX Cloud account. - You have the pool’s Klereo Connect credentials or PoolCop API key, and the KNX group addresses planned for it. ## Open the Pool’nX window 1. Sign in to Can’nX Cloud. The **Projects** page appears. 2. Open the pool’s project. The title becomes **Project** followed by the project name. 3. In the list, click the name of the Pool’nX in the **Gateway** column. Its page opens, showing among other things **Service status**, **MAC address**, **Local IP address** and **Protection mode**. 4. Click the **Pool'nX** button, with the waves icon. The **Pool'nX** window opens. ## Find the settings | Window row | Role | Guide | | --- | --- | --- | | **Type of pool** | **Klereo**, **PoolCop (legacy)** or **PoolCop Cloud** | [Klereo](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/pool-klereo-connect/), [PoolCop](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/pool-poolcop-connect/) | | **Selected pool** | Klereo pool or PoolCop connected to the gateway | Same guides | | **Authentification** | Klereo Connect credentials or PoolCop API key | Same guides | | **Pool Status** | Measurements and states sent on the KNX bus | [KNX statuses](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/pool-knx-status/) | | **Pool Commands** | KNX addresses that control the pool | [KNX commands](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/pool-knx-commands/) | | **Temperature Control** | Hysteresis control from the KNX bus | [Temperature control](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/pool-temperature-control/) | | **Export to ETS** | CSV file of the active addresses | [ETS export](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/pool-knx-ets-export/) | | **Options** | Update via KNX, sending period, watchdog, TCP client | [Options](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/pool-options/) | Choose the type of pool first: the other settings depend on it. ## Commission in order 1. Choose the type, save the credentials and select the pool. 2. Map the statuses to send on the KNX bus. 3. Map the commands to receive from the KNX bus. 4. Export the addresses to ETS and program the KNX devices concerned. 5. Set the options and, if needed, temperature control. ## If an update is offered When the Pool’nX does not have the latest version, the **Pool'nX** button first opens an **Update … from … to …** window, which shows the gateway name, its current version and the new version, with the release notes or **No changelog available for this update.** - **Update the gateway** sends the update; the message **The update order has been sent** confirms it. - **Cancel**, or the cross, opens the **Pool'nX** window without updating. A Pool’nX with a version earlier than 7.0 opens an older configuration window, different from the one in the guides: contact support to have it updated. ## Troubleshooting - **Pool'nX** button greyed out: the page shows **Protection mode** **Locked**. Contact the project owner. - **Pool'nX** button missing: the product opened is not a Pool’nX. Check the name and the **Type** column in the project list. - For other situations, see [Pool’nX troubleshooting](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/pool-help/).
