--- title: Trigger, condition and action details of a Link’nX scenario description: View the details sheet of each trigger, condition and action in a Link’nX scenario, select a trigger, change a delay in seconds or add an action. canonical: https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-scenario-details/ language: en product: Link’nX audience: - administrateur - installateur context: "Link’nX web: detail windows of the scenario creation or edit form" --- # Trigger, condition and action details of a Link’nX scenario Context: Link’nX web: detail windows of the scenario creation or edit form In the [scenario creation or edit form](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-compose-scenario/), the **Triggers detail**, **Conditions detail** and **Actions details** buttons open a window that shows the details sheet of each item. They are in the **Triggers**, **Conditions** and **Actions** headers. These windows are for viewing; some commands there also change the current scenario. Intended for administrators and installers who build or review a scenario. ## View and select triggers 1. Click **Triggers detail**. 2. In the **Selected list** tab, choose an item in **Selected trigger list** to show its details sheet. The **Full list** tab shows the other triggers offered, grouped by type. 3. For the item displayed, check or uncheck **Selected for scenario**: the item is added to the scenario or removed from it. The change applies to the current form. 4. Click outside the window, or press Esc, to return to the form. Check the **Triggers** chips: at least one trigger must remain selected to save. ## View a condition 1. Click **Conditions detail**. The **Condition list** window opens. 2. Choose a condition in **Condition** to show its details sheet. This choice is for viewing only: the condition is not added to the scenario. 3. Close the window by clicking outside it or pressing Esc. To apply a condition, choose it in the **Date condition**, **Time condition**, **Day/Night condition** or **KNX condition** field of the main form. To confirm the weekdays and months of a **Days and Months** condition, review its selections in the [condition form](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-condition-days/). If a summary shows a difference, contact support before changing the rule. ## Change the delay of a scenario action 1. Click **Actions details**. The **Action list** window offers two tabs: **Selected list** and **Full list**. 2. In **Selected list**, choose an occurrence in **Action** to show its details sheet. 3. Change its **Delay**, expressed in seconds, using a whole number zero or greater. The change applies to this occurrence in the current scenario. 4. Then check the **hh:mm:ss** display of its card in the main form. For example, 90 seconds are shown as 00:01:30. ## Add an action from the window 1. In **Actions details**, open **Full list** and choose the action in **Action**. 2. Fill in **Delay** in seconds. 3. For a KNX action, leave **Override value** unchecked to use the configured value. 4. Click **Add action**. The window returns to **Selected list**. 5. Close it by clicking outside it or pressing Esc, then check the new card and its position in the sequence. The KNX **Value** field and the **Override value** checkbox define a [value specific to one occurrence in the scenario](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-scenario-values/). If the action has several addresses, check the effect of this value on each of them. For the order of actions and waits, use the [delays guide](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-scenario-sequence/). ## Check the result After a detail window is closed, its changes stay in the form without being saved: previous selections and delays are not restored. Check the **Triggers** chips, the **Actions** cards and their delays in the main form, then [save or discard your changes](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-scenario-save/). ## Troubleshooting If an expected trigger is not offered in the window, return to the form and search for its name directly in **Triggers**. If it does not appear there either, check the context and whether it exists in the general trigger list. If a trigger still cannot be found or a details sheet does not contain the information you need, contact support@can-nx.com, specifying the product, the item type, the name you are looking for and the parameter you need to understand.
