A KNX object can then control the camera without going through a scenario. Intended for the authorized installer or administrator. For a scenario action or a detection trigger, follow the [Reolink commands and detections guide](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-reolink-automation/) instead. ## Before you start - The camera has gone through the [Reolink declaration](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-camera-devices/): check in particular the channel and the model’s functions. - The group addresses and their DPTs are defined in the KNX project. Check them with the installer. ## Open the camera’s gateway table In **Devices → Security & Access → Reolink**, click the **Gateway mode configuration two opposite arrows**, to the left of the camera’s pencil. The [KNX table guide](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-gateway-table/) describes the address formats, the filters and the **Active** checkbox in the header, which also acts on hidden rows. ## Map the KNX commands 1. In the **Actions** tab, choose the useful rows using the table below. 2. For each intended row, fill in **Address** with the KNX group address assigned to this function and check **Active**. 3. Click the **floppy disk at the bottom right** before switching tabs. Wait for **Succès** (Success) with **Données sauvegardées avec succès !** (Data saved successfully!). | **Actions** tab | DPT | Meaning of the value | | --- | --- | --- | | **Floodlight** | **1.001** | 1 requests switching on, 0 switching off. | | **Floodlight brightness** | **5.001** | Percentage from 0 to 100. To request an explicit switch-off, also use the appropriate **Floodlight** command. | | **Siren** | **1.001** | 1 activates, 0 deactivates. | | **Infrared lights** | **1.001** | 1 allows the infrared to operate automatically, 0 disables it. | | **PTZ preset** | **5.010** | Integer number of the preconfigured position, from 1. Zero does not designate a position to use. | | **Reboot** | **1.001** | 1 requests the reboot; 0 does not trigger it. | ## Map the status feedback 1. Open the **second tab**, with a speech-bubble icon. 2. Map the desired rows to their group addresses and check **Active**. 3. Save this tab in the same way. Commands and feedback are separate associations. | Feedback | DPT | Reading | | --- | --- | --- | | **Floodlight state** | **1.001** | Activation state of the floodlight. | | **Floodlight brightness state** | **5.001** | Percentage reported by the camera. | | **Infrared lights state** | **1.001** | Infrared allowed or disabled; this state does not tell whether the lamps are lighting at that moment. | | **Motion**, **Person detected**, **Vehicle detected**, **Pet detected** | **1.001** | State of the corresponding detection, if available on the model. | ## Check the result 1. Go back to the list, reopen the gateway and review the saved values. 2. Send a command from the bus, for example with the ETS group monitor, and watch the camera: **Données sauvegardées avec succès !** only validates the save. 3. Check each feedback on its own group address. ## Troubleshooting - Check the right camera and its channel, the address, the **Active** checkbox, the DPT and the function actually available. - Treat missing feedback as missing information, not as a zero value, a stop or an absence of detection. - The rows are the same for all models: check that the camera has the floodlight, the PTZ motor or the detection concerned. - For a saved command without effect or a missing detection, follow the [Reolink troubleshooting](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-reolink-automation/). If the checks have already failed or if an association remains uncertain, contact support@can-nx.com with the context, the row concerned and the tests done.
