--- title: "Navigate Link’nX: scenarios, functions and device cards" description: Open triggers, conditions, actions, scenarios and functions, find an integration card and understand the padlock in the Link’nX sidebar on any screen. canonical: https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-navigation/ language: en product: Link’nX audience: - administrateur - installateur context: "Link’nX web: sidebar on computer, tablet and mobile" --- # Navigate Link’nX: scenarios, functions and device cards Context: Link’nX web: sidebar on computer, tablet and mobile The Link’nX sidebar gives access to the automation sections (triggers, conditions, actions, scenarios), to functions and to the integration cards, grouped by device category. It collapses on a computer and becomes a menu on mobile. Intended for administrators and installers, after [opening Link’nX on the right project and the right gateway](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-access/). ## Open an automation section In the sidebar, the **AUTOMATION** section gives access to **Triggers**, **Conditions**, **Actions** and **Scenarios**. **Functions** is just after this list. Click the name of the section you want. ## Open an integration card 1. Locate **Devices** and expand the category you want with its chevron: **Protocols**, **Security & Access**, **Audio & Media**, **Climate & Energy**, **Smart Home** or **Other**. 2. Click the card bearing the integration’s name, for example **KNX**, **Sonos** or **Access Control**. You reach its list if access is available. The categories are initially collapsed. Next to **Devices**, the two-chevron button offers **Expand all** or **Collapse all**. It is not needed during a search, since the results are then displayed automatically. To find a card quickly, type the brand or integration name in **Search a device...**: categories containing results expand during the search. Clear the text with the cross to return to the previous display. For **Access Control**, type **Access**; if a search with the French label returns nothing, clear the filter and open **Security & Access**. This search finds a device family in the menu, not the name of a piece of equipment already declared in a list. ## Understand the padlock and the Soon badge - A **padlock** on a card means that the interface does not show its license as active for this context. Clicking it displays **Contact your distributor to enable this license**. First check the project and the gateway. If you have purchased the license, [activate it with its serial key in the project](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/customer-licence/). For terms, availability or a license that should be active, contact your distributor or support; do not try to bypass the padlock with another link. - The **Soon** badge or the **Coming soon** tooltip announces no availability date and no guaranteed commercial terms. ## Collapse or expand the sidebar on a computer - The chevron at the top of the bar is labeled **Collapse sidebar**. In compact mode, the automation icons keep their tooltips, and a selection of integrations appears below them. - **More devices...**, shown as three dots, or the **Expand sidebar** chevron brings back the expanded menu when the screen width allows it. - To adjust the width of the expanded bar, drag its right edge; double-clicking this edge restores its initial width. ## Open the menu on mobile or tablet On mobile, open the three-line button at the top left. The menu closes after you choose a section or an integration; clicking outside the panel also closes it. On a tablet or a medium-width window, a compact bar may remain displayed. If an integration cannot be reached from its shortcuts, use a wider window when possible. ## Change the language or open help To change the language, click the globe at the bottom of the bar and choose **Français** or **English**. The choice is kept for future sessions in this browser. For help, use the question mark icon **Help** at the bottom of the expanded bar. ## Find the declaration guide for a device | Integration | Guide to follow | | --- | --- | | BluOS or Denon/HEOS player | [The audio declaration](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-audio-devices/) | | Evlink Pro AC, Lektri.co or Terra AC EV charger | [The EV charger declaration](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-charger-devices/) | | Nuki | [Nuki: declaration and commands](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-nuki/) | | Somfy | [Somfy: declaration and discovery](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-somfy-devices/) | | Daikin, Gude, Atmoce | [The declaration suited to the family](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-dga-devices/) | | UniFi Access, UniFi Network | [The controller or door declaration](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-unifi-devices/) | | HomeKit | [The export to HomeKit](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-homekit-export/) | | Pushover | [The Pushover declaration](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-pushover-device/) | | Sony or Samsung TV, depending on the options in your context | [The Sony or Samsung declaration](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-tv-devices/) | | Shelly | [The device declaration](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-shelly-device/) | | Huawei production or storage | [The Emergy’nX building configuration](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/emergy-building-production-storage/) | If you are looking for another Huawei interface or do not have Emergy’nX, ask support to confirm the appropriate path. ## Troubleshooting For **No results** in the search, check the spelling, try the brand name, then clear the filter. If the expected card is still missing or the menu still cannot be found, contact support@can-nx.com with Link’nX, the integration or section you are looking for, the context, the device you use and what appears in the menu. French labels: **Déclencheurs**, **Conditions**, **Actions**, **Scénarios**, **Fonctions**, **Appareils**, **Rechercher un appareil...** and **Contrôle d'accès** for **Access Control**.
