--- title: Add an Evlink Pro AC, Lektri.co or Terra AC EV charger in Link’nX description: "Add an Evlink Pro AC, Lektri.co or Terra AC EV charger in Link’nX: IPv4 address, port and Modbus Slave ID, before setting up its actions and KNX commands." canonical: https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-charger-devices/ language: en product: Link’nX audience: - administrateur - installateur context: "Link’nX web: Evlink Pro, Lektri.co and Terra AC lists in Climate & Energy, depending on the option" --- # Add an Evlink Pro AC, Lektri.co or Terra AC EV charger in Link’nX Context: Link’nX web: Evlink Pro, Lektri.co and Terra AC lists in Climate & Energy, depending on the option Declare an Evlink Pro AC (Schneider Electric), Lektri.co or Terra AC (ABB) EV charger in Link’nX with its IPv4 address and, for Evlink Pro AC and Terra AC, its port and Modbus identifier (Slave ID). This declaration is the starting point for the charger’s [actions](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-charger-actions/), [KNX commands](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-charger-knx/) and [status feedback](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-charger-feedback/). Intended for administrators and installers authorized to configure the gateway. ## Before you start - Check the project and the gateway in the Link’nX header. - Have the charger settings confirmed by the installer ready: its IPv4 address and, for Evlink Pro AC and Terra AC, its port and Slave ID. If they are unknown, ask the installer or support for them before filling in the form. - These forms do not ask for the password of a vendor account. ## Open the charger list 1. In **Devices**, open **Climate & Energy**, then **Evlink Pro**, **Lektri.co** or **Terra AC**. You can also type the family name in **Search a device...**. On mobile, start by [opening the navigation](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-navigation/). 2. If the card shows a padlock or an activation message, check the context and the option for the family concerned. 3. In the desired list, click **Add**. The form title confirms the family: **Evlink Pro AC declaration**, **Lektri.co declaration** or **Terra AC declaration**. ## Fill in the declaration The fields depend on the family: | Field | Evlink Pro AC | Lektri.co | Terra AC | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | **Name** | Required, 64 characters maximum | Required, 64 characters maximum | Required, 64 characters maximum | | **IP address** | IPv4 of the equipment | IPv4 of the EV charger | IPv4 of the equipment | | **Port** | Required, to be provided | No Port field | Required, to be provided | | **Slave ID** | Confirmed Modbus identifier | No Slave ID field | Confirmed Modbus identifier | 1. Give a **Name** that identifies the charger, for example “North car park charger” (fictitious example). 2. Enter the **IP address** as four numbers from 0 to 255 separated by dots, without a protocol or port. A host name does not replace the expected IPv4 address. 3. For **Evlink Pro AC** and **Terra AC**, enter the **Port** and the **Slave ID** configured for this equipment: positive integers confirmed by the installer. The examples displayed in the fields, such as 8082 or 1234, are neither values already filled in nor universal settings. 4. For **Lektri.co**, the form stops at Name and IP address: it has no Port or Slave ID field. 5. Click the **round floppy disk at the bottom right** and wait for **Success!**. ## Check the result 1. Find the charger’s row in the list. It shows the Name and IP address, as well as the Port and Slave ID for Evlink Pro AC and Terra AC. 2. Click the **Edit** pencil and review the saved values. 3. **Success!** confirms that the declaration is saved, not the connection to the charger or a vehicle charge. Then test a command from a [charger action](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-charger-actions/) or a [KNX association](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-charger-knx/) and watch the charger. ## Edit or delete a declaration - To edit a declaration, open its **Edit** pencil, change the fields, then click the floppy disk. Wait for **Updated!** and reopen the declaration to check the result. If you leave a modified form, read the prompt about unsaved changes: nothing is saved automatically. - To delete it, first check the actions and associations that use the charger, because the confirmation does not list dependent scenarios. Click the **Delete** trash can, then read the name in the browser confirmation. Cancel to keep the charger, or confirm and check that it has disappeared after **Deleted!**. No button restores the declaration, and deleting it does not stop a charging session in progress. ## Troubleshooting - Floppy disk grayed out: check the required fields and the IPv4 format of the **IP address**. - Locked card or missing access: check the project, the gateway and the family option, then contact your distributor or support if access is still missing. - Empty list even though the charger is connected: check the project and the gateway. The list contains saved declarations; it does not automatically discover the chargers on the network. - Unsure about the suggested port: the example displayed in a field does not replace your equipment’s setting. Have an unknown IP address, port or Slave ID confirmed before saving. - Declaration saved but the vehicle is not charging: check the declaration, then the selected charger and the desired command in the [action](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-charger-actions/) or the [KNX association](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-charger-knx/). Saving does not start charging; the [charger feedback](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-charger-feedback/) helps you understand its state. ## Contact support If the values have already been checked and the problem persists, write to support@can-nx.com with the product, the project and gateway, the symptom, the message displayed and the tests carried out. A screenshot without sensitive data can help. Never send a password or an access key.
