--- title: Temperature setpoints and ionization thresholds of an Airzone action description: "Values to enter in a Link’nX Airzone action: setpoint from 15 to 30 °C, cooling from 18 to 30 °C and air ionization thresholds up to 30." canonical: https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-aidoo-values/ language: en product: Link’nX audience: - administrateur - installateur context: "Link’nX web: Value parameter of an Airzone action, equipment confirmed in degrees Celsius" --- # Temperature setpoints and ionization thresholds of an Airzone action Context: Link’nX web: Value parameter of an Airzone action, equipment confirmed in degrees Celsius In a Link’nX [Airzone action](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-aidoo-action/), the temperature setpoint and air ionization threshold commands expect a numeric **Value**. Enter it within the ranges below, in degrees Celsius for temperatures, keeping the low threshold below the high threshold. Intended for installers and administrators who prepare an action for Airzone zones. ## Before you start - Have the installer confirm, for each selected zone, the available functions, the unit, the limits and the setting step. The ranges in this guide do not replace the installation’s own limits. - For ionization thresholds, have values established for the equipment. ## Set a temperature setpoint This procedure concerns equipment confirmed in **degrees Celsius**. 1. In **Airzone device**, choose the relevant zones. Check that they all use the Celsius unit and accept the planned setpoint. 2. In **Airzone command**, choose the setpoint to set using the table below. 3. Fill in **Value** within the indicated range. Also respect the more restrictive limits and the step of your equipment. Fictitious example: **21** for a zone that accepts 21 °C. 4. If the scenario must also change the mode, prepare a **Mode selection** action and check the order of the actions. A heating or cooling setpoint only sets the corresponding setpoint, without choosing the mode. 5. Reread the value and the zones, then click the **floppy disk at the bottom right**. | Command | Setpoint set | Range to respect | | --- | --- | --- | | **Temperature setpoint** | Setpoint of the current mode | Between **15 and 30 °C** | | **Heating mode temperature setpoint** | Heating setpoint | Between **15 and 30 °C** | | **Cooling mode temperature setpoint** | Cooling setpoint | Between **18 and 30 °C** | ## Set the air ionization thresholds Always keep the **low threshold strictly below the high threshold**. 1. In **Airzone command**, choose **Low air ionization threshold** or **High air ionization threshold**. 2. Fill in **Value** with a whole number validated for your installation: from **0 to 30** for the low threshold, from **1 to 30** for the high threshold, with the low threshold below the high one. For a threshold above 30, contact support to establish the appropriate entry. 3. Before changing a threshold, check the other threshold and the expected effects with the installer. If both thresholds must change, have the order that maintains their relationship at each step confirmed; do not infer their current values from the action form. 4. Save with the floppy disk. ## Check the result Wait for **Success!**, or **Updated!** after a confirmed change, then check where the action is used in scenarios. After the scenario runs, check on the equipment that the setpoint or threshold has been applied: saving does not measure air quality. ## Troubleshooting - After a change of command, re-enter **Value**. - If your equipment uses **degrees Fahrenheit**, if the unit is unknown or if a value outside these ranges is needed, ask support for the appropriate procedure. Do not enter a converted value without having the unit expected by the installation confirmed. - If the interface refuses a value that is nevertheless established for the installation, if the limits or the other threshold are unknown, or if the command remains without effect, contact support@can-nx.com with the context, the command, the message and the steps already performed.
