--- title: "Airzone status feedback on KNX: temperatures and mode" description: Read the room temperature, setpoint, mode, fan and power state of an Airzone zone on the KNX bus with Link’nX, with the DPT of each feedback. canonical: https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-aidoo-feedback/ language: en product: Link’nX audience: - administrateur - installateur context: "Link’nX web: second tab of the KNX gateway table of an Airzone device" --- # Airzone status feedback on KNX: temperatures and mode Context: Link’nX web: second tab of the KNX gateway table of an Airzone device The second tab of the Airzone gateway table in Link’nX maps KNX group addresses to the information of an Airzone air-conditioning zone: temperatures and setpoints, mode, fan, power, humidity, heat or cold demands, identifiers. A KNX display or visualization obtains them with a read request. Intended for installers and administrators. The available feedback depends on the information provided by your equipment. ## Before you start - In the **Airzone** list, check the declaration, its system and its zone. - For temperatures, the equipment is confirmed in **Celsius**. ## Map a status feedback 1. On the device row, open the two arrows **Gateway mode configuration**. 2. First save any changes to the **Actions** tab. 3. Open the **second tab**, marked with a speech-bubble icon, and choose the necessary rows in the tables below. 4. Fill in their **Address**, check the **DPT**, then check **Active**. The [gateway table guide](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-gateway-table/) explains the filters, the automatic fill and the mobile variant. 5. Click the **floppy disk at the bottom right** and wait for **Données sauvegardées avec succès !** (Data saved successfully!). 6. Configure the KNX object used for viewing so that it sends a **read request** to the active address, with the planned DPT. The feedback answers this read; it is not sent spontaneously after each change on the equipment. ## Temperatures and setpoints | Temperature rows | DPT | | --- | --- | | **Current room temperature**, **Current setpoint value** | 9.001 | | **Current cooling setpoint**, **Maximum cooling temperature**, **Minimum cooling temperature** | 9.001 | | **Current heating setpoint**, **Maximum heating temperature**, **Minimum heating temperature** | 9.001 | | **Maximum allowed temperature**, **Minimum allowed temperature** | 9.001 | | **Temperature step value** | 9.002 | These mappings are documented for equipment in Celsius. Separate heating and cooling limits and setpoints may depend on the model and on the use of a double setpoint. ## Other feedback | Row | DPT | Reading the information | | --- | --- | --- | | **Current mode** | 20.105 | Values from the [Airzone KNX modes table](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-aidoo-gateway/) | | **Fan speed** | 5.010 | Current speed: 0 Auto, other values depending on the equipment | | **Available fan speeds** | 5.010 | Maximum available speed, from 0 to 7; this feedback is not the list of all the speeds | | **Type of speed** | 5.010 | 0 zone speed, 1 airflow | | **Power state** | 1.001 | 0 off, 1 on | | **Double setpoint active** | 1.002 | 0 absent, 1 present | | **Sleep mode status** | 7.006 | Timer: 0 deactivated, 30, 60 or 90 minutes depending on the setting | | **Current humidity** | 9.007 | Humidity provided by the equipment | | **Temperature units** | 1.002 | 0 Celsius, 1 Fahrenheit; this read does not change the unit | | **Air demand status**, **Cold demand status**, **Heat demand status** | 1.011 | 0 deactivated, 1 activated | | **Master zone ID**, **System ID**, **Zone ID** | 7.001 | Identifier provided by the equipment | | **Device name** | 16.001 | Name provided by the equipment, within the 14-byte text limit | ## Interpret the values read - Missing data is not a zero temperature: leave it missing rather than interpreting it as 0. - A read just after a command may still show the previous value. Do not repeat the command for that reason alone. ## Check the result Send a read request to the feedback address, for example with the ETS group monitor, and compare the value received with the actual state of the equipment. Saving the table stores the mappings; this read is what validates communication with the installation. ## Troubleshooting - Missing or inconsistent state: check the declaration’s system and zone, the address, the **Active** checkbox and the DPT. - Equipment in Fahrenheit, unknown unit or information not provided: contact support. - Refresh frequency, longer full name or specific state not listed here: ask support for the appropriate configuration. If these checks do not succeed or have already been done, contact support@can-nx.com with the row concerned, the expected result and the steps tried.
