--- title: Find or delete equipment in Emergy’nX description: Find Emergy’nX equipment by name, type, phase and max power, open its configuration or delete it, then check that the equipment list is updated. canonical: https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/emergy-equipment-list/ language: en product: Emergy’nX audience: - administrateur - installateur context: "Emergy’nX: Equipment list of a real project, Edit, Duplicate and Delete actions" --- # Find or delete equipment in Emergy’nX Context: Emergy’nX: Equipment list of a real project, Edit, Duplicate and Delete actions The **Equipment** list in Emergy’nX shows the configuration of each device in the project: name, type, phase and maximum power. From this list, you open equipment to review or edit its parameters, or you delete a configuration that is no longer needed. Intended for administrators and installers in charge of configuring the real project. To view a power value or request Auto/OFF/ON day to day, use [the dashboard cards](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/emergy-control/) instead. ## Find the configuration of a piece of equipment 1. Check the project name in the top bar, then open **Equipment** in the left menu. On a phone, first open the three lines **Toggle navigation**. 2. Wait for the list to load. Find the device by its **Name**, then check **Type**, **Phase** and **Max Power**. 3. In **Actions**, on the right of the row, click the **Edit** pencil. On a narrow screen, scroll the table horizontally to reach the actions. 4. Check the equipment name on the edit page before filling in a field. 5. If you only want to view the configuration, then go back with the **Back** arrow at the top left, without changing the fields. **Max Power** is a configuration parameter in kW, separate from the instantaneous power shown on the dashboard. The two-sheet **Duplicate** button opens a copy draft, which is only stored when you save; this path is detailed in [create, edit or duplicate equipment](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/emergy-equipment-create/). It is not a way to fix missing data on existing equipment. ## Delete a configuration that is no longer needed The confirmation states that the deletion **cannot be undone**. First check with the person responsible for the installation that this configuration really must be removed. 1. In **Equipment**, identify the row and check the name and the type. 2. Click the **Delete** trash can on the right of this row. 3. In **Delete Equipment**, reread the name shown. Click **Cancel** if it is not the right device or if you want to keep it. 4. If the removal is really intended, click **Delete** in the confirmation. This removal concerns the configuration in Emergy’nX and tells you nothing about the state of the physical device, powered or stopped: do not use it as a power-off procedure, nor as an assurance that the power supply is maintained. ## Check the result After a deletion, wait for the update, then check that the row no longer appears in the list of the same project. Check the list itself: the confirmation closing does not on its own indicate that the removal succeeded. ## Troubleshooting | Display | Check and next step | | --- | --- | | **No equipment configured yet** | Check the project. If known equipment should appear, have the situation confirmed before creating copies. | | **Failed to load equipment** | Check your connection, then reopen the section. If the problem persists, contact support. | | The equipment no longer opens from the list | Go back with **Back**, wait for the list and look for the same name. If the problem persists, contact support. | | The **Equipment** section does not appear | Check the [demo, mobile and TV mode](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/emergy-access/) variants. This symptom alone does not indicate a missing license. | | The row is still present after a deletion and reopening the list | Contact support without repeating deletions, because the result is uncertain. | For any persistent difficulty, write to support@can-nx.com with the project, the equipment name, any message displayed and the steps actually tried. French labels: **Équipements**, **Nom**, **Type**, **Phase**, **Puissance max**, **Actions**, **Modifier**, **Dupliquer**, **Supprimer**, **Annuler** and **Précédent**.
