--- title: Open or create a Chart’nX dashboard from Emergy’nX description: From the Emergy’nX navigation, open a Chart’nX dashboard in View or Configure mode, or create an energy dashboard with New dashboard. canonical: https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/chart-open-emergy/ language: en product: Chart’nX audience: - utilisateur - administrateur - installateur context: "Emergy’nX: Chart’nX section of the navigation, connected project outside demo mode, computer and mobile" --- # Open or create a Chart’nX dashboard from Emergy’nX Context: Emergy’nX: Chart’nX section of the navigation, connected project outside demo mode, computer and mobile In Emergy’nX, the **Chart'nX** section of the navigation gathers the project’s Chart’nX dashboards: **View** displays the charts, **Configure** opens the generator and **New dashboard** creates an energy dashboard. A user can view the dashboards; their configuration belongs to the administrator or installer in charge of the project. ## Before you start - Emergy’nX is open on your project, whose name appears in the top bar. To find the project, the language or the menus, see [the Emergy’nX landmarks](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/emergy-access/). - You are not in demo mode: the Chart’nX section is not offered there. ## Open an existing dashboard 1. In the left navigation, open **Chart'nX** by clicking its name or its chevron. The project’s dashboards appear under this section. 2. Select the name of the dashboard you are looking for. Its content loads in the page. 3. Choose **View** to display the charts, or **Configure** to open the dashboard’s generator. Stay in **View** to consult or export. When the navigation is collapsed, click its bar chart icon, near the bottom of the navigation: the **Chart'nX** menu contains the same dashboards. On mobile, first open the three-line button at the top left, then the **Chart'nX** section; scroll the navigation if needed. ## Create a new energy dashboard Select **New dashboard** under **Chart'nX**. The generator opens on an untitled dashboard. The command is offered as soon as a project is associated with the session, outside demo mode; your account also needs the rights required to save the changes. For the common validation and closing steps, see [Save and exit the generator](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/chart-save/). ## Check the result Before using the data, check the project and the dashboard name in the Chart’nX header. Then follow [Set the period](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/chart-period/) or [Export the data](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/chart-export/). ## Troubleshooting | Situation | Meaning and action | | --- | --- | | Chart’nX section missing | It is not offered in demo mode.
