There you find a scenario, enable or disable it, and start it on demand with **Execute**. For users, administrators and installers: the controls shown depend on your account’s permissions. A scenario can act on several devices; identify it and check its use before running it. To create or edit a scenario, follow [the creation guide](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-scenarios-create/). ## Open Time Programming 1. Open the supervision of the relevant building. From a hypervision, [first enter this supervision](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-hypervision-switch/). 2. In the header, open **Menu**, then **Time programming**, in the Schedules family. On a tablet or phone, **Menu** is at the right of the bottom bar. The [Boss’nX navigation guide](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-navigation/) describes the **Menu** and your bar of pinned pages in detail. ## Find a scenario 1. Enter part of the name in **Search for a scenario...**. 2. Choose **All**, **Active** or **Inactive** to filter by activation. 3. Identify the card by its name. It shows the time or the solar event when there is one, the conditions, the number of actions and the associated gateways. If nothing matches, clear the search and return to **All**. A card can summarize several triggers: review the full scenario rather than only the large time displayed. The page shows the scenarios referenced in Boss’nX. Scenarios prepared separately in Link’nX are not necessarily listed. ## Check the required permissions In the role configuration, three permissions govern scenarios: | Permission | Controls concerned | | --- | --- | | **View and run scenarios** | View the page and use **Execute** | | **Operate scenarios** | Enable or disable, open the pencil and adjust times, values and delays | | **Edit scenarios** | Create, rename, restructure, duplicate and delete | In the editor, the **Tuning mode** banner calls this last permission “Manage Scenarios”. Only the permissions of the signed-in account’s role count, not the title “user” or “administrator”. Have the administrator check the required permissions together, using [the roles and their permissions](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-roles-consult/). ## Enable or disable a scenario 1. On the card, locate the small switch at the top right, near the name, with the tooltip **Enabled**. 2. Click once, then wait for the card to update. Its status dot shows **Active** or **Inactive**. 3. Check the result with the **Active** or **Inactive** filter, then return to **All** to see the whole list again. A view-only account sees an **Enabled** or **Disabled** badge instead of the switch. Activation concerns the schedule only: disabling does not return the devices to their previous state and is not an emergency stop. If an action has already taken place, check the actual state of the relevant device. ## Run a scenario manually 1. Check the name, the targeted devices and the expected consequences, if necessary with the person who prepared the scenario. 2. Click **Execute** once, the button with a triangle at the bottom of the card. The request is sent immediately, without any further confirmation. 3. Wait for the message **Scenario executed** or **Failed to execute scenario**. Do not click repeatedly to get an effect, and do not count on manual execution to bypass the conditions or the activation of the scenario. ## Check the result **Scenario executed** confirms that the request was sent, not the physical state of each device. Then check the expected result on the devices and their available status feedback. ## Troubleshooting | Symptom | Check | | --- | --- | | **Time programming** missing from the **Menu** | Check the chosen supervision, then the **View and run scenarios** permission: the **Menu** only lists the pages your account can open. | | Card not found | Clear the search, choose **All** and check the context. A separate Link’nX scenario may require its own procedure. | | Pencil or switch missing | Have the **Operate scenarios** permission checked: an account that can run scenarios does not necessarily have the right to edit them. | | **Failed to update scenario** | Check whether the state has changed in the list before trying again. If the error persists, do not keep toggling. | | **Failed to execute scenario** or no effect after **Execute** | Note the scenario, the message obtained, the time of the attempt and the relevant device. Have the times, conditions, values and gateways checked by an authorized person, with [the times and conditions guide](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-scenarios-schedule/) and [the actions guide](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-scenarios-actions/). | If the problem persists after these checks or the result remains uncertain, contact support@can-nx.com with this context and the attempts made. A screenshot without sensitive data can help; never send a password or access key. French labels: **Menu → Programmation horaire**, **Rechercher un scénario...**, **Tous / Actifs / Inactifs**, **Exécuter**, **Scénario exécuté**, **Voir et exécuter les scénarios**, **Faire fonctionner les scénarios**, **Modifier les scénarios**, and “Gérer les scénarios” in the **Mode ajustement** banner.
