# View, download and print guest access QR codes in Boss’nX

Context: Boss’nX supervision: Guest access, View QR and Print QR Codes, Manage topology right

Boss’nX displays the QR code of a guest access with its link, downloads it as a PNG image and prints several codes on an A4 or A3 sheet, with the chosen size and caption. You can then display the QR codes in rooms or hand them to guests.

Intended for administrators and installers with the **Manage topology** right. Give a QR code and its guest link only to the people for whom the access is intended.

## Display a QR code and its guest link

1. Open **Menu → Guest access**, then find the right code with [its scope and restrictions](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-qr-manage/).
2. On the code’s row, click **View QR**. Wait for the image and the **Guest link:** in **QR code preview**.
3. For the presentation of this preview, choose **Label → None**, **Below the code** or **Centered**. With a label, change the **Caption** if necessary. This caption does not rename the code and does not change the authorized components.
4. Click **Close** to return to the list.

## Download a QR code as an image

1. On the code’s row, click the download button, labeled **Download SVG** in this interface.
2. Find the **PNG** file named after the code’s label, for example `qr-Visitor_reception.png` (a fictional example).

The downloaded file carries its own centered caption, the zone name or otherwise the code’s label: the label choices made in the preview do not apply to it. To control the captions, prepare a sheet instead.

## Prepare a print sheet

1. In **Guest access**, click **Print QR Codes**. This button is offered when the list contains codes.
2. Check the codes to print. **Select all** and **Select none** act on the list in this window. Check the labels and the number shown on the print button.
3. Choose **Paper → A4** or **A3**, then **Portrait** or **Landscape**.
4. Under **QR size (mm)**, choose **Tiny** (24 mm), **Small** (32 mm), **Medium** (48 mm) or **Large** (90 mm). You can also enter a custom size; then check its layout in the preview.
5. Choose **Label → None**, **Below the code** or **Centered**. For the checked codes, fill in the **Caption** when it is offered. The code’s label also remains a marker on the sheet.
6. Check the **Preview** and the number of pages. On a small screen, switch between the **Select** and **Preview** tabs. This preview shows the layout; the images to print are prepared in the next step.
7. Click **Print selected**, followed by the number of codes. Wait for the preparation and for the browser’s print window to open.
8. Confirm the printing, or the saving as PDF if your browser offers it. Cancelling in this window abandons the printing without deleting the codes.

## Check the result

- Before confirming the printing, check in the browser’s final preview the QR codes actually present, the captions, the size and all the pages. Count the QR codes present rather than relying on the selected number.
- Open a downloaded file and review it before distributing it.

## Troubleshooting

| File not found | Check the downloads and any browser prompts. |
| QR code unreadable after printing | Check the size, the sharpness and the caption; prepare a copy without a label to compare. |
| The QR code opens but access is refused | Check its state and its [restrictions](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-qr-configure/) with the administrator; reprinting does not restore rights. |

If the image or the link still cannot be obtained, or if you precisely need an SVG vector file, contact support@can-nx.com with the label and the displayed message, without attaching the QR code or the private link.
