# Boss’nX legacy alert recipients: view and export to CSV

Context: Boss’nX, supervision: Users then Roles, read-only Legacy recipients window

The **Legacy recipients** window in Boss’nX is a read-only reference of the recipients of the previous notification model: email address, event type, severities, channel and whether they can be migrated. It serves as a basis for preparing role-based notifications, which determine current sending, and can be exported to CSV.

Intended for the administrator or installer authorized to manage roles.

## View the reference

1. Open the relevant supervision, then **Menu → Users**, **Roles** tab. From hypervision, first enter the supervision.
2. Click **Legacy recipients** and wait for the window to open.
3. Read the **Email**, **Event type**, **Severities**, **Channel** and **Migratable** columns. Scroll the table if necessary.

To close, use **Close**, the cross, Escape or a click outside.

## Interpret the Migratable column

- **Migratable: Yes** indicates a match with the role-based notification model.
- **No** signals that a direct carry-over is not indicated. For a recipient marked non-migratable or a carry-over whose effects are uncertain, have the administrator check the rules and accounts.

This window offers no button to apply a migration or edit a row. To prepare the current rules, follow [role notifications](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-role-notifications/).

## Download the CSV

1. In the loaded window, click **Download CSV**.
2. Find **legacy-recipients.csv** in your browser’s downloads.
3. Open it with the comma separator and UTF-8 encoding if your spreadsheet application asks for these settings.

The file contains all the rows of the window: it offers no search or checkboxes to narrow the export. The export changes neither the recipients nor the current rules.

## Check the result

- The file has the five columns and all the recipients displayed in the window.
- To find out who currently receives alerts, close the window, then [view the role’s notifications](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-roles-consult/): this legacy list alone does not tell you.

## Troubleshooting

| Message or symptom | Action |
| --- | --- |
| **No legacy recipients found.** | The loaded reference contains no rows and **Download CSV** is disabled. Current notifications are viewed in the roles. |
| The window does not open, a failure message appears | Check the supervision, then click **Legacy recipients** again. |
| The download does not appear | Check the downloads list and any blocking reported by the browser, then try once more. |

French labels: **Menu → Utilisateurs → Rôles → Anciens destinataires**, **Télécharger le CSV**, **E-mail**, **Type d’événement**, **Sévérités**, **Canal**, **Migrable**, **Fermer**. The suggested name becomes **anciens-destinataires.csv**.
