# Aggregated favorites in the Boss’nX hypervision: view and control

Context: Boss’nX: hypervision dashboard, Aggregated favorites block; commands depend on account rights

The **Aggregated favorites** block of the Boss’nX hypervision dashboard brings together the favorite components of several supervisions on cards. From a card, you read a preview of its datapoints, open the component detail or its supervision, and send a command when one is available.

Intended for hypervision users. Commands remain subject to the account’s rights and to the datapoint settings.

## Show the favorites and choose their layout

1. Open the relevant hypervision, then **Hypervision dashboard**, as described in [navigation between contexts](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-hypervision-switch/).
2. Scroll the dashboard down to **Aggregated favorites**.
3. On each card, identify the supervision in the pill at the top, then the component name.
4. Choose the layout with the icons to the right of the block title.

This choice is remembered in the browser. It does not require entering dashboard editing.

The block shows up to the first 18 available favorites. Each card gives a preview of at most two visible datapoints: for the complete list of datapoints, open the component detail.

## Open a component detail or its supervision

- To open the component detail, click its name in the card. Then check the supervision and the component shown. See [view a component](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-component/).
- To open the favorite’s supervision, click the site pill or an empty area of the card, outside the name and the controls. With the keyboard, open a selected card with Enter or Space.
- The buttons, fields and selectors in the card are used for the commands of the relevant datapoint.

To return to the aggregated dashboard after opening a supervision, use the hypervision pill in the header, to the right of the site name (**Back to hypervision…**).

## Send a command from a card

1. Check the supervision, the component name and the datapoint label.
2. Use the button, selector or setting shown, as described for [button and list commands](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-command-buttons/) or [numeric settings](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-command-numeric/).
3. If **Confirm the command** appears, read the request again. **Send** confirms sending; **Cancel** abandons this confirmation.

A value shown may be read-only, and some datapoints may not appear, depending on authorizations. If a required command is missing, have the administrator check the expected access.

## Check the result

Stay on the dashboard and watch the feedback shown before trying again. If the result remains uncertain, do not keep sending the command: follow [command troubleshooting](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-command-help/).

## Troubleshooting

| Situation | Action |
| --- | --- |
| **No aggregated favorite is available yet.** | Check the relevant hypervision and reload the dashboard. If the expected favorite is still missing, open its supervision from [the map](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-hypervision-map/), then look for the component in [Building](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-building/). |
| Not all cards are visible | Scroll the block according to its layout. |
| A datapoint is missing from a card | Click the component name to view its detail: the preview is limited. |
| A navigation click opens nothing, or a command remains unavailable | Check the context and authorizations with the administrator. |
