--- title: Track alarms across several sites in the Boss’nX hypervision description: Read the active alarms of all your supervisions by priority in the Boss’nX hypervision, then open the aggregated alarm history to filter them by project. canonical: https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-hypervision-alarms/ language: en product: Boss’nX audience: - utilisateur - administrateur - installateur context: "Boss’nX: hypervision dashboard, Technical alarms block and aggregated alarm history" --- # Track alarms across several sites in the Boss’nX hypervision Context: Boss’nX: hypervision dashboard, Technical alarms block and aggregated alarm history The **Technical alarms** block of the Boss’nX hypervision dashboard summarizes the active alarms of all the supervisions it brings together: total, breakdown by priority and a preview of the latest triggers. One click opens the aggregated history, where you find, filter and handle each alarm. Intended for users authorized to view the alarms of several supervisions. Acknowledging and managing alarms require additional rights. ## Read the alarm summary 1. Open the relevant hypervision, then **Hypervision dashboard**, as described in [navigation between contexts](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-hypervision-switch/). 2. Scroll the dashboard down to the **Technical alarms** block. 3. Read **Active alarms**, then **Low priority**, **Medium priority** and **High priority**. These numbers cover the active alarms shown in the hypervision. 4. In the block’s list, find for each alarm the component name, the pill of its supervision, the **Triggered** state and the date. The most recent triggers appear first. The list is a preview of the first twelve active alarms: it can therefore have fewer rows than the total shown. Scroll the block content if the rows exceed its height. The color indicates the priority: blue for low, yellow for medium, red for high. To find out the cause of an alarm and the action required, open it in the history. ## Open the aggregated history 1. Click the **Technical alarms** block or a row of its preview. With the keyboard, select the block, then press Enter or Space. 2. Check that **Alarm History** opens in the same hypervision. 3. You can also reach this page with **Aggregated alarms** in the header navigation, or with **Alarms** in the bottom bar on a tablet or phone. 4. Choose the **Ongoing** or **Ended** tab, then select the **Project** you want to limit the search to its supervision. 5. Use the filters and rows as described in [find and understand an alarm](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-alarms-consult/). To open a component, click its name when it is shown as a link in the history. ## Handle an alarm from the history Actions on alarms are performed in the history, not in the dashboard preview. Check the project of each row, then follow the corresponding guide: - [acknowledge an alarm](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-alarms-acknowledge/); - [export the results](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-alarms-export/); - [delete entries](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-alarms-delete/). Standby is viewed and set from the building’s supervision, as described in [the standby guide](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-alarms-standby/). ## Check the result Numbers and lists may differ between the dashboard summary and a filtered page of the history. Before concluding that an alarm is missing, check the tab, the search, the dates and the selected pills. ## Troubleshooting | Display | Meaning and action | | --- | --- | | **Aucune alarme récente n'est disponible.** (no recent alarm is available) in the block | No active alarm is shown in the preview; past alarms never appear there. To look for one, open **Aggregated alarms**, then **Ended**, and check the project and the filters. | | **Aggregated alarms cannot be filtered for your role — hidden for safety.** in the history | The view is hidden because of your role, which does not mean there are no alarms. Open the authorized supervision from [the map](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/boss-hypervision-map/) and view its alarms. Have the administrator check the expected rights. | | **Alarms unavailable** | Read the message, click **Retry** and wait for the result. | If loading fails again, if an expected alarm still cannot be found or if its interpretation remains uncertain, contact support@can-nx.com, specifying the hypervision, the supervision, the component, the message and the checks made. French labels: **Alarmes techniques**, **Alarmes actives**, **Priorité basse**, **Priorité moyenne**, **Priorité haute**, **Alarmes agrégées**, **Historique des Alarmes**, **En cours**, **Terminées**, **Projet**, **Alarmes indisponibles**, **Réessayer**; the preview state is **Active** in French, and in the English interface the empty-list message may remain in French.
