# Sign in to Access Control administration with an email link

Context: Access Control: administration login screen, French interface

Access Control administration, where you create and track guest bookings and access codes, does not ask for a password: you receive a login link by email. The interface is in French; labels are given in French with their English meaning.

For the Access Control administrator. A guest does not need to sign in: they use their personal link, as described in [View your guest access code](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/ac-guest/).

## Before you start

- The address of your Access Control space, provided by your Can’nX contact.
- The email address linked to your administrator account. This is the address saved in the **Administrator Email** field of the access control in Link’nX. If you are authorized to configure this project, the guide [Enter the administrator and copy the link](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/link-accesscontrol-admin/) explains where to save this email and find the Admin link.

## Request and open the login link

1. Open the address of your Access Control space. The screen shows the titles **Access Control** and **Administration des accès** (Access administration). If your session is already open, you go straight to **Aujourd'hui** (Today).
2. In **Votre adresse email** (Your email address), enter your administrator address.
3. Select **Recevoir le lien de connexion** (Receive the login link). During the request, the button shows **Envoi en cours…** (Sending…), then the message “Si cet email est associé à un compte admin, un lien de connexion a été envoyé.” (If this email is associated with an admin account, a login link has been sent.) appears. It is shown for any address entered and does not confirm that an account exists.
4. Open the login link received in your inbox. **Connexion réussie! Redirection...** (Login successful! Redirecting...) appears, followed by the **Aujourd'hui** page.

## Check the result

The **Aujourd'hui** page is open and your email address appears at the bottom of the navigation, with the number of sites you can access. Continue with [Choose a site and view bookings](https://wiki.can-nx.com/en/guides/ac-consult/).

## Sign out

Use the button to the right of your email address, shown as an arrow leaving a door and named **Se déconnecter** (Sign out). You return to the login screen.

## Troubleshooting

| Situation | Action |
| --- | --- |
| **Le lien est invalide ou a expiré.** (The link is invalid or has expired.) or **Erreur lors de la vérification. Veuillez réessayer.** (Verification error. Please try again.) | Select **Retour à la connexion** (Back to login) and request a new link. |
| No email received | Check the address you entered and your spam folder. Also check that it is the address saved as **Administrator Email**: no link is sent to any other address. |
| New account, permissions to check or change, space not found without this access | Contact support. |

If the problem persists, write to support@can-nx.com, mentioning Access Control and the message displayed. Do not send the personal link or an access code.
